Hey there.

Don't know if Padma's already mentioned it to you or not, but this coming Saturday's our year and I've something right special planned for the occasion. The thing is, I'm in need of some help to pull it off. I'd ask your parents but you know as well I do that I'd probably wind up sharing a pint with the authorities before they escort me to gaol. Process of elimination leaves you and truth told, I'd rather your help than none.

And no, I'm not saying a bloody word about what I'm doing until you've agreed. I don't fancy anyone going off spoiling the surprise since this's been in the works for going on months now.

I'd just like to say it's VERY low of you to insinuate that refusing to help you would mean I want my sister to be unhappy.

Of course I care about her happiness. What if you tell me what it is, and I PROMISE not to be "going off spoiling the surprise" regardless of what I think of your plan?

How about you promise that and you promise to help, then I'll tell you. Sounds a better plan to me.
