Yesterday morning, as I'd the bloody incredible fortune of waking up next to my gorgeous girlfriend and I was thinking how sodding brilliant it'd be to wake up next to her all ruddy the time, a ring found it's way into my possession. Being a sharp wizard, I seized the opportunity and took the risk to make the brilliance permanent. Jammy bastard I am, Padma agreed.

Padma and I are engaged.


Well wishes, bottles of champagne, good-natured heckling, and other gifts and goodies offering congratulations are more than appreciated and expected from those who know who they are.

That's superficial.

I never said she wasn't smart, but being nice to one or two people and cruel and cold to the majority doesn't make you a nice person. And there should be "reasons" why it's permissible to be unkind to others.

You ask for my opinion, and decide to stop talking about it once I tell you something you dislike - despite my warning you that you would not like it.

Relationship or not, there is still something there, Kev. Even if it is one-sided. And it will not just go away because you try to ignore it.
