IO to Padma ONLY

My mum's passed on some pamphlets to me for you. They're of places around here she reckoned you'd be interested in having the ceremony. I'll drop them by later.

Anything happening you've'n't told me about yet?

I think you're wrong and you didn't give me a chance to prove as bloody much to you, as well.

Two already?

Why is it that you've been drinking so much lately then?

I suppose this is the last one we'll have the chance to celebrate. As, by this time next year, Merlin willing we'll be married.

You make it sound like I'd a bottle in my hand every ruddy time you've seen me.

You've your heart on anything special?
We will. I'll see to it if it's the last bloody thing I do.

...I'm just worried about your health, Mike. Both physically and emotionally.

I- don't know. Maybe I could owl Mandy on a whim and see if she'd take us as guests for a weekend in Uganda, I believe? I suppose that's a rather selfish request.

It seems Pansy wants to throw a party for the two of you. Oh Merlin, I should IO her, shouldn't I.

I love you, Mike. There isn't any doubt in my mind that I'll soon be your wife.

You've'n't anything to worry about, Padma. I'm ace.

A mite. Don't know about you, but I'm not wanting to spend our anniversary catching up with Brocklehurst and her flock of Fwoopers. What about Nice or Madrid? Or that Dizzney place outside Paris?
We've the DA Saturday and I'm to present. You're wanting to take off after it finishes?

If there's to be any party, it's to be hers. I've'n't any desire for one. But yeah, you might want to think about it.

I love you as well.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_patil_padma/ 2007-06-15 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
...will you come to me if there is?

Dizzney place? I don't believe I've heard of that location. What is it, exactly?

Are you saying you won't attend, should she choose to have it this weekend? How long do you think we should be gone?

I have no idea what to say to her.

Always, Mike.

Don't reckon there'd be any bloody way for me to hide it from you if there were.

Some amusement centre, if I was understanding the locals right last summer. Terry, Tony, and I never made it out there, but it sounded like a right laugh.

I've told her as much, yeah. Couple days, I reckon. S'pose I could give the ickle ones a mite more time to revise before they sit their exams and I'm free all summer.

'Hi' does wonders, I hear.

Always.

You don't always have to be the strong one, Mike.

What sort of amusement? Is it an adventure?

...I reckon I could take one or two days off, considering I didn't last week. I think they'd understand.

Don't be a smart aleck, Michael.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/mike_corner_/ 2007-06-16 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
Sure I do.

It's like a faire, with Muggle rides, shoppes, and a mouse that's an ambassador or some rot like that, if memory serves.

Through Tuesday work for you?

Smart arse? Me? Never. Trying to be helpful, is all.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_patil_padma/ 2007-06-16 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Nor do you always have to be the cocky one.

...a mouse? And this is a Muggle centre?

Three whole days with you? You'd better be worth it, Mr Corner.

I've already IOed our friends.
