Someone made an observation is all. Probably thought they were being funny but I'm having a difficult time seeing the humour in it.

I think you have the tendency to- overlook things. For example, you should tell your mum what's happened to you. I know you're trying to protect her- but you're her first born, Mike, and I'd be quick to wager she'd rather know what's going on with you- good news or not- than be left entirely in the dark.

We've had the odd joke on occasion. Made several the other night even. Reckon that's why she was having me on.
