IO to Parvati Patil ONLY

Right. I reckon I should've done this sooner, but you know how it goes. Revising, tutouring, snogging your sister, Quidditch practise. Keeps a bloke right busy these days.

Anyroad, that IO I sent, the one I didn't mean to make public, I've been going over that a bit. What I said in it, I've thought on all week and then some, and I s'pose I meant it. I know how bloody important it is to Padma, and if you're willing to overlook the small details, namely our own mutual love and affection for one another, then for her, it might be worth a go. I don't know how feasible taking tea together is considering she insisted your Mum be there and truthfully, I don't reckon your dad'll permit me into your home anyroad - reckon Thomas has the better chance there - but how abouts we try something a mite more generic and a touch less hostile? I don't know if we'll be let back into Hogsmeade this time around, so if they're insisting on keeping us imprisoned here, maybe we could enjoy the limited freedom with a picnic on the grounds or something. Then if either of us need to be storming off after a right bloody fantastic row, we're at least within a reasonable walking distance of the castle.

So yeah. Your court now.

How serious are you being, Michael?

I suppose I could assume that's a yes, but I'm afraid I really do need you to give a straight answer this time, Michael.

If you reckoned this was a joke, then all apologies about disappointing you. Not even my sense of humour's that sick.

That's a yes, in case it needs to be any clearer.

It seemed too nice to be true, that's all. I was just making sure.

But in that case, it's fine. Let's have a picnic. I can do that.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_patil_parvati/ 2006-03-09 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, that's what I said. I can. Should we set some sort of rules or something, then?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/mike_corner_/ 2006-03-09 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
I don't talk to you, you don't talk to me? Seems easy enough.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_patil_parvati/ 2006-03-09 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, that works perfectly for me.

It makes me happy that you're finally trying for Padma, you know.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/mike_corner_/ 2006-03-09 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Ace.

Yeah, because making you happy is why I did this. When's your turn?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_patil_parvati/ 2006-03-10 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not naive enough to think you'd ever to anything for my happiness, you know. I don't know why I said it, but I take no responsibility for it - apparently, someone spiked the punch at Gryffindor last night.

That's why I had nightmares. Cheers.

Your official invite's up. I'm Bloody looking forward to more of your sunshine, Patil.
