IO to Ginny, Dean, and Neville ONLY

Ginny, Dean, Neville -

I've been thinking on it since last Friday and I reckon I owe you all an apology. It was never my intention to create a disruption such as there was and I admit it got out of hand. I feel especially guilty about this with Neville. If there had not been such a large blow up beforehand, I imagine more people would have been able to concentrate on your lesson. For that, I apologise.

Just a quick question, though. Are we still allowed to attend the meetings?

Er, it's all right. I doubt anyone would have paid attention anyway. You made the meeting interesting. I've got to learn "flair" or something, to teach.

Anyway, I don't have a problem with you coming back. But, I guess it's up to Ginny and Dean. They're the ones in charge.

I still feel a prat regardless. And I would hardly call that flair. Short-fused, more like. I'm sure you're being too hard on yourself. What was the lesson about, if I might ask?

Thanks. I could have sworn you were in charge though, too. At least that is what I thought the invite had said.

Er, well, maybe they think I'm in charge. But . . . well, I don't really think I am. I sort of helped come up with the idea, in a way, but Dean and Ginny took over and that's probably for the better, heh.

Anyway, the lesson was about plants and counters to poisions and things. If you'd like I could loan you my notes for the lesson and you could copy it out.

Oh, all right then. Good to know.

Erm, sure. That actually sounds interesting. You're in my Transfiguration class, right? I could get them from you then.

Sure, I'll bring them then. Not a problem.

Private IO to Mike ONLY

I don't have any objections to you attending. Or even Cho for that matter. It's Marietta that makes me nervous. She's already snitched on us once, and Hannah has brought up a concern that she might let something slip to Harry, Ron, or Hermione.

Really, I want to tell them, and I will when Harry's a little less...I don't know the word for it..

Anyway, I'm not going to say that Marietta CAN'T come, although I'd appreciate if it someone kept a fairly close eye on her...

I don't think that Marietta has any agenda with the DA. From what I understand, Cho had to practically drag her there. I would say that Hannah is just paranoid.

Isn't waiting on Harry kind of fruitless?

If you truly are worried about Marietta, I can watch her. I'm all ready spending more time with her as it is since, well, the last meeting. I might as well do something useful.

You're welcome to come back, Michael, if that's what you want. I'm sorry it turned into as bloody a mess as it did, myself.

I'll try and keep Seamus from attacking you the minute you walk in the door, but you must know that he'll be closely watching Cho and Marietta, at the very least, right? I don't like the idea of Marietta there, especially (though I'm still a tad put-out at Cho, too, for being nasty to Ginny...though Ginny can, and did, hold her own) but like I said at the time, I didn't officially dis-invite either of them, so I didn't think it fair that I make them leave then.

I just can't imagine *why* Marietta'd want to attend in the first place. She had to have known the stir it would cause, and that, too, makes me wonder at an agenda there.

Sorry you got brought into the middle of this, but I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Cho's or Marietta's right now.

Ace. You're a stand-up guy, Thomas, as Ginny wouldn't be with anyone less.

I know most people aren't keen on Marietta being there - hell, I'm not keen on her being there - but I really don't think there is anything to worry about with her. Cho told me she had to practically drag her there. I won't go so far as to say she's harmless, but really, there should be no worries.

I wasn't particularly chuffed with Cho's display toward Ginny, but as you said, Ginny's more than capable of taking care of herself.

The only friendly suggestion I have to make is that the next time you try to pull something of this magnitude together, you should let your best mate there know exactly who is invited beforehand.

Ta, Corner. The first meeting *definitely* didn't turn out as any of us expected, I wager.

Steps will be taken to ensure the next one goes a tad smoother. I'll do my best to keep what happened from happening again.

I'm not going to apologize *for* Seamus, as he clearly believed what he was saying, but I hope your decision to attend again won't be based on what he said (then or since).
