Yesterday morning, as I'd the bloody incredible fortune of waking up next to my gorgeous girlfriend and I was thinking how sodding brilliant it'd be to wake up next to her all ruddy the time, a ring found it's way into my possession. Being a sharp wizard, I seized the opportunity and took the risk to make the brilliance permanent. Jammy bastard I am, Padma agreed.


What? Couldn't hear it? You're needing me to say it again? No, don't ruddy mind if I do.

Padma and I are engaged.

I'm sorry I didn't get to you before Mike did. I wasn't sure, actually, if it would be appropriate to present such news as you near your own engagement party, but I reckon that's just excuses now. We'll have to get together, Pansy... if you're willing. You've been a fiancée for longer than I have, after all!
