Anyone fancy a flutter on the Quidditch match tomorrow?

That's what you get for betting on a losing team!

Oh? Where will you be taking me, then?

Betting two Galleons on a losing team! TWO!

Erm, since I'm broke, we could... go to Hogsmeade, sit under a tree and watch the clouds - if it's not raining, of course - and eat some... erm, grass. Or maybe we could beg for food. What do you say?

It's not STEALING if you win them fair and square.

And for the love of Merlin's goolies, quit whinging. I'll take you BOTH out.

Exactly. It's stealing.

What? You mean that you're not lending me just your money, I'll have to take all of you too?

Didn't know goolies could love. Maybe Merlin's bollocks were extraordinary bollocks.

Stop being miserable sod about it. It's not my fault you have no luck.

Well, if you really would prefer watching clouds and begging passerbys for scraps of food, then best of luck mate.

Well what else did you think Merlin was known for?

Oh, for heaven's sake, just take the extra three Galleons and let me sulk in peace!

Clouds are interesting.

Very valid point.

All right then, Michael, where will you be taking us?

Well Hermione, that should be up to the lovely ladies to decide, don't you think?

Ladies?

Well, I...suppose we, er, could do that.

Of course. I wouldn't be going to Hogsmeade alone now, would I?

You don't sound too convincing there. Is there a problem?

From: [identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_missgranger/
No, of course you wouldn't.

No, no problem, Michael.

Excellent. Would you like to discuss it with Cho or do you already know where you would like to go?

Oh, I'm not picky, really. Why don't you just tell Cho she can have the honours.

IO to Hermione Only

Are you sure? Because that would probably entail the lot of us whittling away the best of our afternoon in the last stop on the path to confectionary hell.

Just fair warning. I would prefer for all of us to have a good time.

Oh, blast, you're right. I wouldn't much fancy all of us getting an overdose of pink from that abomination known as Madam Puddifoot's. All right then - why don't we make it simple and say The Three Broomsticks? I don't know anyone that doesn't like that place. Or if Cho's dead set against going there, we can always do the Hogsmeade Inn; they've a lovely restaurant.

I don't think I'd much fancy begging for food. Lucky for you, I'm not broke. The sitting under a tree part sounds lovely, though.

Oh, for heaven's sake, Tony, it's the nineties! It's perfectly acceptable for the woman to pay once in a while!

Except you've just said you're broke.

I'll find a way! I'll... do other people's homework for money! Or something. I'll find a way.

Oh, Tony. You are simply too sweet for words, do you know that? Whatever we end up doing Saturday next, it needn't require money. As long as I'm with you I'll be happy.

Of course I mean it. I don't say anything I don't mean.

Oh. Um, thanks. I'm glad. Very.
