Pansy's invited us over for dinner tomorrow night. You up for it?
My mum's been asking about you. She wants to know how you're doing. I told her you said if she asks after you one more time, you promised to be through with me. May've mentioned something about being a nagging future mother-in-law to her as well.

Date: 2007-03-18 09:00 pm (UTC)She's alright, I s'pose. She's been fussing over Bulstrode's release when she wasn't preoccupied plaguing me with questions about you. Told me I should give Bulstrode the benefit of the doubt so I asked her if she'd do the same about Pansy. I think this time 'round I actually believe her.
I can think of loads of other ways to show you care, Padma.

Date: 2007-03-18 10:58 pm (UTC)Seems like a fair trade, then, you showing concern for Millicent and her showing concern for Pansy. Is Millicent staying at Bayhall?
I never said there weren't others, Mike.

Date: 2007-03-19 12:14 am (UTC)S'pose so. My mum thinks as much, anyroad.
Yeah, she is. She can't leave the place until the trial's through. Good thing Bayhall's the size of a small country, yeah?
I know you didn't. I was just reminding you.

Date: 2007-03-19 12:48 am (UTC)I'm glad the two of you are in agreement, then.
Are you implying that Millicent can divert herself easily in such a large space or that you do not want to see her?
Why?

Date: 2007-03-19 01:30 am (UTC)The former. I've already ran across her earlier. Wasn't much for talking or anything but then again, I don't think I'd be in the mood either.
Thought you might be keen on a reminder later, is all.

Date: 2007-03-19 02:20 am (UTC)How does she look? I reckon it must be hard for her- if the incarceration has muddled with her defenses. Has she spoken with your mother at all, do you know?
If you're asking whether I know that you care for me then the answer is yes, Mike.

Date: 2007-03-19 03:09 am (UTC)Not much different outwardly, but you can tell something's off. She looks worried, same as Pansy. They should be. Can't sodding believe all of this.
If she has, my mum didn't mention anything. Then again I didn't think to ask.
Nah, wasn't it, but ace to know. I was asking if you were interested in a demonstration afterward.

Date: 2007-03-19 03:25 am (UTC)I'm not finding it too hard to believe that a government organisation is making broad and dangerous assumptions with the end result of ruining two innocent peoples' lives.
I just assumed, is all. I would hope that Millicent has someone to talk to.
I'm sorry, Mikey. What sort of demonstration? Though you already know that my answer is yes.
