And she couldn't stand the ruddy sight of me and high-tailed it out of there. I spent a good who knows how bloody long afterward getting pissed off my face then spent the rest of the night apologising for every sodding wrong I've ever committed against her. Fucking ace, that was. She says she's not disappointed but it's there in her eyes, there's no ruddy hiding it.

Perhaps you should take her at her word instead of reading into everything she says? It is possible that she's not disappointed in you, you know. The same as myself, and probably a few other people I can think of.

That can be said for many things, including Ron. Will you at least be civil with him? He'll be around.


You haven't disappointed a single person who considers you a friend, maybe even a best friend at that. Without you, i can guarantee that my life would be lacking, and I think it goes without saying for Padma, Tony, Terry, and probably even your singing mate.

May I throw you a welcome home party when you get here? Tony and I discussed it, but he isn't sure you'd be interested.
