Purple is my favourite colour, actually. Though I should feel more of an affinity to blue- Ravenclaw pride, of course.

Red means something very- specific in my culture.

Is that universally? I mean, it doesn't always mean marriage, does it? You wore red that one time, when you danced, and it didn't mean the same in that instance, did it? What does white mean then?

...no, it doesn't always mean- marriage. The colours also symbolise- the same as they do here, I believe, white for purity, and red for- passion. It's just- yes, an Indian wedding garment is usually red, as is the Mehendi dye a- bride applies to herself.
